The 2500 acres of Huntington Beach State Park holds a rich bounty of Grand Strand treasures. The park is only fifteen miles from downtown Myrtle Beach but is a world away from the hustle and bustle of the beaches to its north. A fresh water lagoon, saltmarsh and maritime forest as well as 3 miles of sandy beach are examples of the state’s natural coastal environment.
With over 137 sites available for camping it’s a great place to take the family to a coastal retreat. Watch sunrise over the Atlantic ocean which is just a few steps from the campground. Hear the sounds of the roaring ocean while relaxing at your campsite. Enjoy the serenity of a beach vacation and all this state park has to offer. Each campsite, excluding the designated tent sites, has water and electrical hookups and is convenient to hot showers and restrooms. Some sites have sewer hookups. All sites have complimentary wi-fi access. Several sites accommodate RVs up to 40 feet, others up to 30 feet.
